Samsung wins Company of the Year award : Samsung Electronics America, Inc., has been named “Company of the Year” in the Display Technology category in VARBusiness' Annual Report Card (ARC) for an unprecedented fifth year in a row. Samsung's solution-provider partners and readers of CMP Technology’s VARBusiness recognized the company with the prestigious award. Research for the awards was conducted by Bernett Research Services, a Boston-based data collection company, and Answers Research, the Solana Beach, Calif.-based market research and consulting firm. The ARC awards were held at an awards ceremony held on August 21 at the CMP Channel's XChange ’07 Conference in Orlando, Florida.
Samsung OfficeServ 7400 receives award : The OfficeServ 7400 from Samsung has received a 2006 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Customer Inter@ction Solutions magazine. Customer Interaction Solutions has been the leading publication covering CRM, call centers and teleservices since 1982. “It’s time the power of IP convergence was in the hands of those businesses that can really benefit from it,” said Samsung Business Director Ann Irwin. “Those medium-sized businesses, the 500 lines and under crowd, have special needs that only convergence can address.
