Breast cancer disease supported by PNY

Breast cancer disease supported by PNY : PNY Technologies, a supplier and marketer of memory modules, flash media, USB drives and graphic cards, announced that it will partner with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to support the fight against breast cancer. Komen for the Cure is the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists committed to ending breast cancer forever. During October, to coincide with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, PNY's 2GB Secure Digital and 4GB SDHC flash memory cards will be available from retailers in specially marked packaging featuring the Komen for the Cure pink ribbon graphic. As part of the program, PNY Technologies will also donate $100,000 to Komen for the Cure.

PNY 4-In-1 Mobile Media Kit : To simplify the use of and get the most out of today’s latest mobile devices, PNY Technologies introduced the 4-In-1 Mobile Media Kit. Now, users can choose a single memory device to work with virtually all digital cameras, mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players, laptops, smart phones or any device that supports an SD card or USB drive allowing them to capture and transport their favorite content on multiple devices using the same memory device. The 4-In-1 Mobile Media Kit contains a MicroSD card and three adapters, converting the MicroSD a MiniSD card, standard SD card, or a USB drive. PNY’s new 4-in-1 Mobile Media Kit is available f in capacities of 1GB and 2GB for an MSRP of $29.99 and $49.99, respectively.

Solid State Drives at Computex : PNY Technologies, Inc. introduced its new solid state drive (SSD) lineup, on pace to replace traditional hard disk drives (HDD) currently used in all notebook and desktop PCs. Configured with NAND flash chips, PNY’s SSDs are a drop-in replacement that greatly improves system performance, enhances ruggedness, and uses less energy in all notebooks and mobile electronics devices that allow for a traditional 2.5” or 1.8” hard disk drive. PNY’s SSD offering includes commercial and industrial options as well as capacities up to 128GB for its 2.5" version and 64GB for its 1.8" drive. The 2.5" versions feature the PATA-based 44-pin IDE and SATA connectors.

PNY Solid State Drives at Computex Taipei : PNY Technologies, Inc. will showcase its new solid state drive (SSD) lineup at the 2007 Computex International Information Technology Show in Taipei, Taiwan from June 5th through June 9th. “SSDs are an emerging technology-on pace to replace traditional hard disk drives in many mobile applications,” said Jason Breakstone, product manager, Solid State Drives for PNY Technologies. “As we see flash prices continue to decrease, the significant advantages that SSDs provide over traditional rotational disk solutions will be justified by the consumer.” Members of the press and tradeshow attendees are invited to PNY’s booth to learn about PNY’s new SSD product line.
