Panasonic TZ3 Underwater review

Ilse Jurriën : 2007-12-22 13:55:00
Panasonic TZ3 Underwater review : I have the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 at my disposal for the weekend. Often people don't only go scuba diving when they go on holiday or a weekend away but they combine scuba diving with other activities. At times like that it is very convenient to have a camera at hand that serves both purposes. The underwater photography requires a camera that is not too large so it can easily be taken along. Besides that wide angle is an advantage in underwater shooting, because a wide angle lens lets you shoot close to the subject. This means less water in between the camera and the object and thus less dirt and more colour in the pictures.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 review

Dennis Hissink : 2007-12-11 14:38:00
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 digital camera review : I have said it before: Panasonic are setting the world on fire. Even more so; Panasonic's digital camera assortment is impressive and mature and Panasonic does not yield to the established lot, the renowned photo manufacturer. When we take a look at the assortment there is a choice for everyone, from simple entry level to a stylish design, from compact to advanced Megazoom and even a digital SLR camera recently, that was warmly welcomed worldwide. For this review I chose Panasonic's new Megazoom model; the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ18. This model got introduced in the summer of 2007 and was the result of a few generations of Megazoom cameras. Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 Review

Dennis Hissink : 2007-10-18 20:01:00
Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 Digital Camera Review : The successor of the Lumix TZ1, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3, was introduced in January of the year 2007. Did the Panasonic TZ1 impress us with its compact size and onboard 10x Leica zoom lens; the Panasonic Lumix TZ3 digital camera even exceeds its predecessor. The resolution went up to 7 Megapixels and even more important, the focal range, although staying the same with its 10x optical zoom, gained a wide angle. As a result, this compactcamera has a fine 28-280mm range, absolutely a good achievement. It means that Panasonic is one of few manufacturers to deliver a digital compact camera with an optical zoom lens that is able to offer wide angle.

Panasonic Lumix L10 preview

Dennis Hissink : 2007-09-02 21:00:00
Panasonic Lumix L10 preview : After attending the press conference of Panasonic at the IFA 2007 I received a pre-production sample of the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-L10 digital SLR. Unfortunately the weather just changed and turned into a rainy instead of a sunny day. I was able to shoot some pictures with the Panasonic L10 in the centre of Berlin and I have to say that after my hands-on experience with Panasonic’s new SLR I am positive surprised! We cannot really make a conclusion about the image quality, firmware 0.3, and very early in the production stage, but the operation of the Panasonic L10 is very intuitive. Live View and a fully articulating LCD are a very fine combination and gives the camera a complete new D-SLR experience.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 test photos

Dennis Hissink : 2007-07-25 14:35:00
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 test photos : At the press conference in Dublin I was able to shoot with the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 digital Megazoom camera. The Panasonic Lumix FZ18 is a camera for the photographer who is into a variety of photographic shooting. Although the camera is easy to handle and incorporates a range of pre-programmed scenes, it is offering a range of photographic settings like P/S/A/M for the more experienced photographer. I took the Panasonic camera with me to the Dublin area and was able to test the new intelligent camera features in combination with the MEGA O.I.S system. I have to remind you that the images of the Panasonic Lumix FZ18 are still a pre-production level, not final level!

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 review

Dennis Hissink : 2007-05-26 23:30:00
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8 review : In the beginning of 2007, Panasonic invited the world press to come and admire their new range of digital cameras in Paris. The new series of Lumix cameras includes the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ8. This new model succeeds the popular Lumix FZ7 and is Panasonic's newest Mega zoom digital camera. From the outside, the Panasonic Lumix FZ8 is pretty similar to its predecessor. The real changes have taken place inside the camera. The most striking difference is the upgrade from 6 to 7 Megapixels and the option for recording favorite moments in both JPEG and RAW format.
