Panasonic 16GB SDHC Memory Card : Panasonic, a leader in High Definition technology and market leader in Flat Panel HDTVs announced that the company will release a 16GB Pro High Speed SDHC Memory Card. The new card, designated RP-SDV16GU1K, featuring both high capacity and high speed, will be globally released in November 2007 with an estimated retail price of $319.99. The arrival of Panasonic’s 16GB model further strengthens its Pro High Speed line-up which now offers five models: 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB card sizes with the Class 6 Speed specification. The new Panasonic 16GB SDHC Flash Memory Card is equipped with a massive 16GB data storage capacity and a high data
transfer speed of up to 20MB/s.”

Panasonic 8GB Pro High Speed SDHC : Panasonic, the leading brand by which Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd is known announced that the company will launch the 8GB Pro High Speed SD Memory Card. The Panasonic 8GB SDHC Memory Card, designated RP-SDV08GE1K, featuring both high capacity and high speed, will be globally released in September, 2007 with an estimated retail price of EUR129.00. Having added this model, Panasonic now offers four Pro High Speed models, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB card sizes with the Class 6 Speed specification. The company is also planning to introduce a 16GB model within this year to further strengthen the lineup. For 2008 we may even see the 16GB doubled into an impressive 32GB capacity.

Panasonic Class 6 Secure Digital Cards : Panasonic Consumer Electronics announced plans to launch Pro High Speed SD Cards with Class 6 SD Speed specification with 1GB/2GB/4GB memory capacity. Ongoing expansion and evolution of SD/SDHC compatible devices requires faster data transfer speed as well as larger storage capacity. To meet such requirements, Panasonic will introduce new Pro High Speed SD cards with Class 6 SD Speed Classification, the highest class of the three classes of SD Speed Class specification as standardized by the SD Card Association. The Pro High Speed SD cards’ high-speed data writing capability enhances the function of advanced SD/SDHC compatible devices to provide a more stable and effective performance.
