Olympus underwater camera cases and accessories

Ralf Jurrien : 2007-05-25 10:55:00
Olympus underwater camera cases and accessories : Olympus quickly recognised that photographers also want to capture the fascinating world below the water’s surface. Olympus therefore offers underwater cases and accessories for many of its cameras. No matter if it’s a compact model or professional D-SLR, Olympus, the leading manufacturer of underwater cases, has the right solution for everyone. Everybody who has taken photos underwater knows about the conditions. Less available light and the different way that light refracts underwater can make it challenging to achieve good images. It’s recommended to get as close to the subject as possible, which makes wide-angle cameras, such as the new SP-550 UZ, ideal for underwater photography.

Dennis Hissink : 2007-04-22 14:28:00
Olympus E-410 Test with photo samples : Last year, Olympus gave the starting shot for a new FourThirds SLR concept and the first real digital compact SLR - the Olympus E-400 DSLR - was born. Unfortunately it was only the European continent that was so lucky to get acquainted with this model, as all the other continents were left out. This year Olympus made up for it all with the introduction of two new digital SLR cameras just before the PMA 2007 in Las Vegas kicked off, among them the new Olympus E-410. I had already been introduced to this camera during my visit to the PMA and thanks to a fast cooperation with Olympus we are able to carry out a full test on the Olympus E410 SLR very shortly after its introduction.

Olympus at PMA 2007 : The Olympus booth once again showed that Olympus impress with their FourThirds system. The amount of lenses for this system has increased extremely speedy and now offers a wide range for both the amateur and professional photographer. We have noticed that Olympus is quite capable of offering the consumers what they want concerning the low and middle segment but we are still waiting for a real professional SLR camera. Olympus keep us in suspense and even after showing an advanced prototype digital SLR camera one can only guess for its real specifications. Still; it seems Olympus are well on their way. Behind glass we spot the prototype of the advanced SLR that doesn't seem to need any alterations on the body.
