Nikon and T-Mobile partnership : Nikon’s newly announced CoolPix S51c and my Picturetown are set to revolutionize the way in which consumers share and store images. my Picturetown, Nikon’s new photo sharing and storage service, allows the consumer to email pictures to friends and family, send their pictures to a Blackberry device for viewing, or post them to a blog or social networking site. Adding to the convenience of this camera, Nikon has partnered with T-Mobile USA to provide CoolPix S51c customers with a complimentary six month subscription to T-Mobile’s HotSpot Wi-Fi service for digital cameras, allowing the user to send images and videos to friends and family from the nearly 8,500 T-Mobile HotSpot locations nationwide.

Ghita runway show sponsored by Nikon : Nikon is set to strike a pose at Style 360, an alternative Fashion Week destination. On September 11th, Nikon will act as the title sponsor for Alexis Phifer’s first, ever, Ghita runway show at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Nikon Transfer and Nikon ViewNX : Nikon is pleased to announce new software suite components, Nikon Transfer and ViewNX which are available for download from the Customer Support section of the Nikon UK web site. Nikon Transfer is a download utility which can be used in any workflow and allows images to be simultaneously downloaded to two locations, such as the computer and external hard drive. It also offers the ability to embed IPTC and XMP data containing details of the copyright keywords or other useful text often used for cataloguing images. To access the new Nikon software downloads users must have an account with the European support centre and must have registered a valid digital product.
