Nikon photo contest winners : Nikon is pleased to announce the winners of the Nikon Photo Contest International 2006-2007, one of the world's largest and most prestigious photo contests. The contest is held since 1969 and currently staged once every other year. The contest is an opportunity for photographers around the world to communicate and to enrich photographic culture for professionals and amateurs alike. A total of 53 prize winners were selected from among the large number of entries, with Mr. Tung Khanh Le from Vietnam selected as the winner of the Grand Prize for his work entitled "crossing waves": a powerful image capturing a dynamic subject with a photojournalistic touch.

Travel photography competition : Nikon is pleased to announce once again that it is teaming up with Wanderlust, the UK’s leading adventure-travel magazine, to find the crème de la crème of travel photography. The August/September issue of Wanderlust marks the 12th anniversary of the UK’s longest-running annual travel photography competition and Nikon is delighted to be involved in such a prestigious competition. For the Amateur category individuals are invited to submit up to four images in one or more of the following categories: People, Wildlife, Landscape or Festivals. Each winning image must reflect the overall theme of travel as well as interpreting the category concept in a unique way.

Yellow to Me photo contest winners : Nikon and National Geographic Channel Asia (NGCA) announced the completion and success of their second year joint promotion, the "Yellow to Me" Photo Contest 2006. The "Yellow to Me" Photo Contest 2006 ran from October 23 to December 24, 2006, giving entrants across the Asia and the Middle East regions a chance to win great Nikon prizes - Nikon Digtal SLR Camera D80 and Nikon Digital Compact Camera Coolpix series.
