Apple iPod classic : Apple introduced the new Apple iPod classic, featuring 80GB or 160GB of storage that holds your entire collection of music, photos, video, podcasts and games up to 40,000 songs or 200 hours of video. Now in its sixth generation, the new iPod classic delivers all the features customers love about their iPods, plus an enhanced user interface featuring Cover Flow and a new all-metal enclosure. The Apple iPod classic is priced at just $249 for the 80GB model and $349 for the 160GB model. “The first iPod put 1,000 songs in your pocket-this new iPod classic can put 40,000 songs in your pocket,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “With a thinner, all-metal enclosure and an enhanced user interface”

Apple iPod nano : Apple introduced the all new iPod nano, bringing video playback, an enhanced user interface featuring Cover Flow, and an incredible new design to the world’s most popular music player. The new iPod nano features a larger two-inch display with 204 pixels per inch, which lets users watch their favorite movies, TV shows and music. iPod nano also includes three fun games, and additional games can be purchased from the online iTunes Store. iPod nano delivers up to 24 hours of audio playback or five hours of video playback on a single charge, and is encased in a beautiful new metal design made with anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel and comes in five new colors silver, black, blue, green and red.

The new Sony NWZ-S610 Walkman digital media player will support an open platform and include support for Windows Media technology, providing greater choice for downloading and managing music, video and photo collections. Whatever their needs consumers will now be able to quickly and easily transfer their content from their PCs to their Walkman digital media player. The Sony NWZ-S610 player supports security-enhanced Microsoft Windows Media Audio (WMA), as well as non-secure AAC and MP3 music formats, plus JPEG files for photos, in addition to the AVC (H.264/AVC) Baseline Profile and MPEG-4 video codecs.
