Nokia 5700 review

Mark Peters : 2007-09-19 20:51:00
Nokia 5700 review at LetsGoMobile : Our colleagues over at LetsGoMobile have reviewed the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic mobile phone. Lately, the design of the new Nokia mobile phones is becoming more and more stylish and fits perfectly in this time and day. The Nokia 5700 XpressMusic is such a handset with a trendy design. At first you will not notice anything strange about the Nokia 5700 XpressMusic; it is a regular candy bar mobile phone. But when you turn the phone over, you see the music buttons on the back and you will notice that you can twist the button part of the mobile phone. By twisting the buttons you can activate the camera, the music mode or just the phone mode.

Samsung G800 Preview

Mark Peters : 2007-09-12 16:15:00
Samsung G800 preview : At a Samsung dealer event I had the change to get my hands on the upcoming 5 Megapixel mobile phone; the Samsung G800. The Samsung G800 will be introduced later on this year, at least in the Netherlands, and target the multimedia consumer who is also into mobile imaging. The Samsung G800 is an ultra thin slider mobile phone and show off with a great design. The designer Samsung G800 cam phone has a digicam-like metallic design and features a 5 Megapixel digital camera. The handset is one of Samsung’s top models and has to bring Samsung into the high resolution market for mobile phones. This segment is interesting for the manufacturer, the consumer is willing to pay some extras for mobile image quality.

Nude photography with a Cyber-shot mobile : With the availability of the first mobile camera phones most of the (professional) photographers immediate qualified the camphone as a gadget, not taken to be serious - a non issue. Guido Karp, born in 1963 in Mayen, Eifel (Germany) and professional photographer, is changing the image of today’s mobile camera phone. At the IFA 2007 Guido Karp exhibits his experience with his mobile phone and showcased an impressive series of photos that are part of a series that will be available starting October 2007 in his book “The Nudes - Photography with a Cyber-shot mobile)”. Guido Karp used a Sony Ericsson K810i Cyber-shot mobile phone and printed large format photos without any photo correction.
