Sigma 18-200mm lens for Nikon : We got news from Sigma Japan. Sigma is pleased to announce the launch of the new Sigma 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC for Nikon. This high zoom ration lens, designed exclusively for digital SLR cameras, covers wide angle to telephoto. The built-in motor is capable of auto focusing with all Nikon DSLR cameras. Two SLD (Special Low Dispersion) lenses and two Aspherical glass elements provide excellent correction for all types of aberration. Sigma’s super multi-layer coating reduces flare and ghosting and provides high image quality throughout the zoom range. The compact and lightweight construction of 70mm (2.8”) in diameter, 75.6mm (3.0”) in length and 395g (13.9oz) makes it ideal for field work.

Nikon 18-55mm zoom lens : Nikon has added a new member to its family of Nikkor lenses with the AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR, a general-purpose lens developed specifically to cater for users of entry-level DSLR cameras. The DX Nikkor zoom lens is compact, lightweight and affordable and incorporates a Silent Wave Motor for fast autofocus, and Vibration Reduction for enhanced low-light performance. The versatile 3x zoom lens covers the widely-used and popular focal range of 27mm to 82.5mm when mounted on any DX-format Nikon DSLR camera. This autofocus circular fisheye lens has an angle of view of 180 degrees in all directions. It is exclusively designed for digital SLR cameras with the APS-C size image sensor. When used in conjunction with digital SLRs with APS-C size image sensors, it produces circular image within the frame. Sigma 10mm f2.8 EX DC Fisheye HSM lens : The Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of the new 10mm F2.8 EX DC Fisheye HSM lens. This autofocus Fisheye lens is designed for use with digital SLR cameras equipped with APS-C size image sensors. The Nikon version produces a diagonal angle of view of 180° (154° Sigma, 167° Canon). The diagonal field of view produces striking images with exaggerated perspective and distortion. The minimum focusing distance of 5.3inch, and maximum magnification 1:3.3 allows subjects to be as close as 0.7inch from the lens’ front element. This close focusing capability allows close-up photography and also it is possible to make use of large depth of field that covers wide range of subjects.

This 100% digital-specific optic incorporates Olympus’ new Supersonic Wave Drive technology, to provide ultra-fast, whisper-quiet auto focus (AF) speed, and offer several impressive distinctions. Two compact SWD devices power auto focus at a very high speed by exciting unique elliptical oscillations. The compact 5.3mm x 4.3mm optical encoder detects and controls the lens drive position using direct rotation detection without reduction gear.
