Konica Minolta Windows Vista support : Konica Minolta printing solutions confirmed its support for the new Windows Vista Operating System by providing compatible printer drivers for a broad range of color and monochrome laser printers and all-in-ones. The new Vista printer drivers are now available for download on the Konica Minolta website and support the latest generation of products, including the company's newest color lasers - the high-performance magicolor 5500 Series. Additionally, drivers for legacy products and updates for the current product line will be provided in stages. Konica-Minolta Magicolor awarded by CRN magazine : Konica Minolta printing solutions announced that its magicolor 7450 color laser printer was named Product of the year for imaging by CRN magazine (12/18/06 issue). The third major industry accolade given to the magicolor 7450 in just two months, this particular award goes beyond touting the printer's performance and output quality - addressing its relevance to Konica-Minolta value-added resellers, as well. CRN's annual 2006 Products of the Year report features products in 10 different segments that have "uncommon flexibility" and offer VARs and solution providers flexible configuration and customization options to meet their clients' unique printing requirements.
