Imation appoints Chief Marketing Officer : Imation announced that Stephen F. Moss has been named Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer responsible for providing leadership for brand asset management on a global basis as the Company continues to grow its portfolio of brands in both commercial and consumer data storage media and accessories. In his role, a new position at Imation, Mr. Moss will report to Imation President and CEO Frank Russomanno and will be responsible for the brand portfolio management, channel marketing and development and product line strategy. Imation is the only company in the world solely focused on the development, manufacture and supply of removable data storage products.

Data center management symposium : Imation Corp, a worldwide leader in removable data storage media, will convene the 14th annual meeting of its End User Council, including nearly 50 data center managers from top companies across North America. This year's symposium is being held at Marina del Rey, Calif. At the annual "by invitation only" gathering, which will include presentations from industry leaders HP, IBM, Sun Microsystems and Imation, the country's top data center managers will have the opportunity to discuss current opportunities and challenges within their data center operations. They will also preview new products and technologies designed to address the ever-growing demands of corporate data center management.

Imation sponsor of Dodge Nascar : Imation Corp, a worldwide leader in removable data storage, announced that it has signed an agreement with Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates to become a primary sponsor of the No. 41 Memorex Dodge in the Nascar Busch Series starting in August 2007. Imation and CGRFS made the announcement at the team's Concord, N.C., race shop. "Imation made a significant investment when we acquired Memorex in 2006. This sponsorship is an excellent opportunity for us to connect our Memorex brand, the number one brand of recordable CDs and DVDs in the US, with Nascar, the fastest-growing sport in America," said Frank Russomanno, President, Chief Operating Officer and Acting CEO of Imation.
