Record attendance at Macworld conference : IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows for technology markets, announced record-breaking results from the attendance certification audit performed by BPA World Wide for Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, held January 8-12, 2007. The number of overall visitors increased 19% from the 2006 event with 45,572 attendees in 2007, compared to 38,441 in 2006. “The increase in attendance revealed in the BPA audit is a great exclamation point to what was an outstanding event,” said Paul Kent, vice president, IDG World Expo. “The Mac market is a vibrant and robust environment that continues to attract new customers for the most innovative products in the world.”
