HP Pet-Eye Fix

Ilse Jurriën : 2007-06-25 17:20:00
HP Pet-Eye Fix : HP explains about its new Pet-Eye Fix technology; Ever since HP introduced its industry leading In-Camera Red-Eye Removal, people have asked, “Can you fix my pet’s glowing eyes too?” Today - the answer is yes! Using HP’s new Pet-Eye Fix - included in select HP R-series cameras for 2007, Pet-Eye fix allows you to easily and quickly correct those pesky pet eyes - right in the camera. Like red-eyes in people, the glow in a pet’s eyes is a reflection of the camera strobe (flash) from the retina at the back of the pet’s eyes. Some animals, especially those with very good night vision like cats, have large pupils and very reflective retinas designed to capture as much light as possible. This means that the flash reflects very brightly from the retina.

HP Steady Photo

Ilse Jurriën : 2007-06-25 17:19:00
HP Steady Photo Anti-Shake Mode : HP explains about its new Steady Photo technology; HP Steady Photo is an anti-shake capture mode included in the HP Photosmart R967 and R827 digital cameras. Using a combination HP image processing and capture settings, HP Steady Photo helps you to take sharp and clear pictures under lower light without motion blur due to either camera shake or subject motion. Motion blur happens when either the camera itself, or the subjects of a photograph, move during the exposure. Motion blur is a problem when lower light levels cause the camera to use longer exposure time or when the subject or camera is moving quickly.

HP Touch up

Ilse Jurriën : 2007-06-25 17:18:00
HP Touch up : HP explains about its new Touch Up technology; For many years (since the start of photography!), professional photographers have ‘touched up’ photographs. Sometimes called ‘airbrushing’, the purpose of touching up a photograph is to subtly enhance a photo by removing a slight blemish that appears in the photo. Often the appearance of a blemish is emphasized in the photograph due to lighting, and distracts or detracts from the subject. The same blemish may be unnoticed in person, but is obvious in a photograph. Also - sometimes a temporary blemish appears at just the wrong time, perhaps at a special event, and touching up the photograph allows the photographer to restore the appearance of the subject.
