Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd digital Megazoom camera review : A number of manufacturers have dropped their Megazoom models to make room for the entry level digital SLR cameras. On the one hand that is very understandable since the prices of both models are almost alike, but on the other hand; a Megazoom camera is an entirely different concept than a system camera such as the DSLR. Fujifilm however has not much of a choice in this because they don’t have the entry level SLR camera in their assortment which leaves sufficient room to fill the gap to the S5 Pro DSLR with a Megazoom camera like the Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd. Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro review : It seems like ages since the S3 Pro, and it has been 2.5 years since Fujifilm has introduced a new camera: the FinePix S5 Pro. In the world of digital photography that is a long time, indeed. It even seems longer because the S3 Pro was actually a very progressive camera with a somewhat outdated body. This was the S3 Pro's main fault, and it was also a bit too slow for most photographers. But the images were stunning. The Fujifilm S5Pro changes all that, though. Fujifilm now uses the same body and electronics as the Nikon D200. That means it has a solid and weather-resistant body and features such as Nikon's i-TTL and 11-point AF sensor, and just as always that special Super CCD image sensor.

Fujifilm FinePix S9600 review with test photos : Since some time, Fujifilm has two Megazoom cameras in its program. One, the FinePix S6500fd, has been produced to target the average consumer. The other, the Fujifilm FinePix S9600, has been intended for the more serious photographer and offers, for that reason, other possibilities than the FinePix S6500fd. The Fujifilm S9600 succeeds the FinePix S9500. There aren't many changes in regards to the previous model. The image quality has been improved, the Fujifilm FinePix S9600 Megazoom camera is equipped with a larger LCD monitor and an auto focus for faster focus under low light circumstances and there are improvements in the flash. The number of Megapixels remains the same.

Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd review : One thing became very clear with Fujifilm, at the Photokina 2006: face detection is going to be it! And the technique is ready to be built in cameras standard. With this, Fujifilm can fall back on their extensive knowledge of minilabs. There, the technique has been used for years, among other things, to be able to tune colours perfectly. One of the first models with face detection is the Fujifilm FinePix S6500fd. The indication fd stands for face detection. The sensor is building another very important part of the Real Photo Technology. Fujifilm has been using the Super CCD for a long time, and the Fujifilm S6500fd has been equipped with the 6th generation already, the Super CCD VI HR.

Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro camera preview : Just before the beginning of Photokina in Germany last year, Fujifilm announced the arrival of a digital SLR camera from the S-series for spring 2007 - the Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro. This announcement came at the right moment, especially for the faithful group of Fujifilm DSLR photographers who were willing to invest again in a digital SLR camera to bring them back up to date technologically. Many other manufacturers were busy expanding their DSLR range at a rapid pace, and everyone expected Fujifilm to also come up with something of the sort. We had the opportunity to take a closer look at one of the first pre-production samples of the S5 Pro to give you an exclusive comprehensive first impression.
