Developed exclusively for digital output, Pearl Paper yields high quality glossy digital prints with a distinctive pearl-like appearance, making it ideal for professional applications such as commercial, fashion and portrait photography. Pearl Paper was designed to meet the growing, diverse demands for commercial prints and it enables photographers to expand their customer print options. Embedded pearl-like crystals produce a high gloss reflectance, particularly in highlights, to enhance the warmth and depth of printed images.

Fujifilm Get the Picture online service network : Fujifilm USA, Inc. and Verizon Wireless announced Verizon Wireless has joined the Fujifilm Get the Picture Online Service Network, one of the largest online retail print service networks in the photofinishing industry. Through this relationship, Verizon Wireless customers can now print digital camera phone and digital camera pictures directly from Verizon Wireless’ picture sharing online site, Pix Place, to any participating retail photofinisher. The Get the Picture Online Service Network contains more than 10,000 retail locations for camera phone and digital camera photo printing, including Walgreens, Longs Drugs, Ritz Camera and Sam’s Club.

Fujifilm IS-1 digital camera wins DIMA Award : In recognition of its excellence in digital imaging innovation, Fujiflm U.S.A., Inc. was honored with a prestigious DIMA award at PMA 2007. The Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA), a division of Photo Marketing Association International, presented Fujifilm with a DIMA Innovative Digital Product Awards for the Fujifilm IS-1 digital camera. DIMA Innovative Digital Product Awards recognize products or services that are technologically innovative or first of their kind. Fujifilm Frontier 710 digital lab system : Fujifilm USA, announced the Frontier 710 Digital Lab System. Part of the award-winning Frontier Series of lab systems, the Fujifilm Frontier 710 is a compact digital printer processor capable of producing up to 810 4R prints per hour. The Frontier 710 can be installed in a 14 ft2 space, offers a standard printing capacity of up to 24 inches in length, and features Fujifilm’s Image Intelligence technology. Image Intelligence automatically compensates for problematic conditions such as poor lighting, backlighting and high contrast, as well as over- or under- exposure. The Frontier 710 also offers a “one-touch” replenishing chemistry system, using Fujifilm CP-49E chemistry.

Fujifilm LabSense web portal : Fujifilm USA announced the availability of LabSense, a Web portal containing multiple tools. LabSense controls and monitors Fujifilm’s GetPix Kiosks, Get the Picture Online Service, as well as Kiosk@Home consumer software, and gives retailers a full view into their photofinishing departments - including system operations and production. To help retailers optimize the breadth of Fujifilm’s GTPOS and increase their customer base, Fujifilm LabSense reports provide information on where print orders originate from - either from a kiosk, website, Microsoft XP and Vista Online Print Wizards, or one of Fujifilm’s many Get the Picture Online Mobile wireless partners.

Fujifilm CP-49LR Frontier chemical cartridge : Fujifilm USA, Inc., announced the immediate release of the CP-49LR Frontier Chemical Cartridge. The CP-49LR is developed for use on medium-to-high throughput Frontier systems and specifically designed to reduce reduces the volume of packaging materials for disposal. Additionally, because of the 11% reduction of replenishment rate for Crystal Archive Type II Paper, less chemical waste handling and disposal is necessary. Each CP-49LR PC cartridge will process 125 m² (1,345.5 ft²) Fujicolor Crystal Archive Type II Paper, a significant increase compared to the current CP-49E cartridge capacity. This increase in capacity results in fewer cartridge changes.

Designed specifically for the first-time digital camera buyer and consumers seeking an affordable, easy-to-operate upgrade to their current digital camera, Fujifilm’s FinePix A820 and A900 are loaded with features usually reserved for more advanced models. Both incorporate Fujifilm’s signature Super CCD sensor technology, a 4x Optical Zoom lens and feature ISO levels of up to ISO 800. Following in the footsteps of Fujifilm’s advanced digital cameras, the FinePix A820 and A900 both shoot with light sensitivityies of up to ISO 800 at full resolution.
