Lexar Professional UMDA memory card : Lexar, introduced Professional UDMA (Ultra Direct Memory Access) memory cards, the latest addition to the company’s award-winning Professional line of high-performance cards. SanDisk Extreme III 4GB SDHC : Ready for the newest digital still cameras and camcorders, SanDisk Corporation expanded its award-winning SanDisk Extreme III pro line with a 4-Gigabyte SDHC Class 6 memory card and a SanDisk 4-Gigabyte Memory Stick PRO Duo card. As an added bonus, the SDHC card will be packaged with a SanDisk MicroMate USB 2.0 Reader so that users have a one-stop solution for capturing, storing and transferring their images. The announcement was made at the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where SanDisk is displaying its photographic. A 4GB SanDisk Extreme III card can store more than 2,000 high-resolution pictures or up to 8 hours of MPEG 4 video.

SanDisk Ultra II 8GB SDHC : SanDisk Corporation introduced an 8-gigabyte (GB) SanDisk Ultra II SD High Capacity (SDHC) memory card to meet the growing demand for more photo and video storage. The new cards can store over 4,000 high-resolution pictures or up to 15 hours of MPEG 4 video. The announcement was made at the Photo Marketing Association (PMA) Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The SanDisk Ultra II SDHC memory card features write speeds of 9 megabytes (MB) per second and read speeds of 10MB/sec. The cards are targeted at digital photography enthusiasts with 5 megapixel or higher resolution cameras or videographers with camcorders that require significantly faster flash storage cards.

Kingston 2GB microSD Flash memory card : Kingston Inc., announced the release of 2GB microSD Flash memory cards. The capacity boost of the tiny microSD form factor will be welcomed by consumers needing more space to store and transport mobile content on sleeker multifunction mobile phones. “With our new 2GB microSD cards, consumers now have more room to store and share music, video and data files between their mobile phones and other digital devices,” said Jean Wong, Flash memory product manager, Kingston. “The ultra-small size microSD cards consume little power, helping preserve battery life and when using the 2GB microSD card with our full-size SD adapter, the card becomes even more versatile,” added Wong.

SanDisk 4GB microSDHC : SanDisk introduced a 4GB microSD High Capacity (SDHC) card - the largest capacity of the world’s smallest removable flash memory card. A 4GB microSDHC card can store more than 1,000 digital songs or more than 2,000 pictures or up to 8 hours of MPEG4 video. SanDisk made the announcement at 3GSM World Congress 2007. “Content is driving the demand for higher capacity flash memory cards in mobile phones,” said Jeff Kost, vice president and general manager of the Mobile Consumer Solutions division. “The new 4GB SanDisk microSDHC card will allow handset manufacturers and mobile network operators to plan rich media services for their customers who increasingly see their phone as their camera or video music player.
