SanDisk 4GB Memory Stick Micro : SanDisk expanded its Memory Stick Micro (M2) line by introducing a 4-gigabyte card. With the capacity to hold up to 1,000 songs, 2,000 high-resolution photos or 20 hours of MPEG4 video, the 4GB M2 is compatible with Sony Ericsson’s latest generation of slim line, multimedia mobile handsets such as the Cyber-shot and Walkman series. SanDisk announced the 4GB M2 at CTIA Wireless 2007, where the company is exhibiting its mobile products at the Orange County Convention Center. “This new card, and other SanDisk cards for mobile phones such as our 4GB microSD High Capacity (SDHC), are reshaping the wireless landscape,” said Norm Frentz, director of marketing for SanDisk’s mobile consumer solutions division.

SanDisk 8GB SDHC Flash Card

SanDisk 8GB SDHC Flash Card : SanDisk introduced an 8-gigabyte SD High Capacity (SDHC) flash memory card - the highest capacity now available in the SD format. The new flash memory card holds more than 4,000 high-resolution pictures, as many as 2,000 digital songs or up to 15 hours of MPEG 4 video. The SanDisk 8GB SDHC card will come bundled with a SanDisk MicroMate USB 2.0 reader at no extra charge. SDHC cards require an SDHC-compatible reader, so providing the MicroMate reader with the card ensures that users will be able to connect the card to their computers. The MicroMate reader also works with standard SD cards. The SanDisk 8GB SDHC card with MicroMate USB 2.0 reader will be available in April 2007.

SanDisk microSD Mobile Flash Cards : SanDisk introduced SanDisk Mobile Premier, a new line of performance-oriented microSD memory cards aimed specifically at the mobile phone market. The cards allow consumers to quickly transfer content to and from their mobile phones as well as increase storage for videos, music, ring tones, digital images and other files. Also, SanDisk Mobile Premier cards feature SanDisk's TrustedFlash technology, which allows network operators to sell premium content that can be downloaded directly to mobile phones, stored on the cards and played on other TrustedFlash-enabled devices authorized by the network provider. The announcement was made at the CeBIT Show, where SanDisk is exhibiting its new products.

Lexar offers Kodak SD card at PMA 2007 : Lexar Media announced the upcoming availability of new multi- and combo-packs of Kodak-branded removable memory products, offered by Lexar. Beginning in late March, Kodak SD memory cards will be available in 2-, 3- and 4-packs of 1GB cards, as well as 2-packs of 2GB cards. In addition, consumers will be able to purchase a combination package that includes both a Kodak 2GB SD card and a compact Kodak 128MB Picture Card UFC Drive, an innovative form factor developed by Lexar that serves as both a memory card and a USB flash drive. Ridata flash memory line-up : Advanced Media, Inc., manufacturer and marketer of the popular Ridata brand of recordable CD and DVD media, electronic storage products, and digital media accessories, is adding a Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) card to its Ridata lineup of flash memory cards. The new card initially will be available in 4GB and 8GB capacity sizes. The Ridata 4GB SDHC card has a Speed Class rating of Class 2 and Class 6, the 8GB a Class 6.
