Waterproof case from Canon

Ilse Jurriën : 2007-08-03 19:09:00
Waterproof case from Canon : Bring your holiday photography to new places with a Canon digital camera and waterproof case. Whether you’re planning to snorkel, scuba dive or simply wet your toes, packing a waterproof case is a great way to make sure you capture every special moment of your summer travels. There’s nothing quite like a photo with rare sea creatures or the vibrant colours of tropical coral. Canon waterproof cases are available for most PowerShot and Digital IXUS cameras. And with the Underwater mode on many Canon cameras, you don’t have to be an expert to get great shots. Each waterproof case provides a carefully moulded watertight shell that protects your camera against sand and water up to depths of 40 meters.

Canon IXUS underwater case review

Ralf Jurrien : 2007-06-02 19:00:00
Canon IXUS underwater case review : Today's dive has been planned for the Ari-Atol in the Maldives. During our briefing we were warned that the currents were strong. Everyone prepared themselves for what was to come. I had chosen that day to test the Canon Digital IXUS 900 Ti digital camera in the WP-DC7 underwater case. While I was preparing my diving equipment, I noticed that the currents were indeed strong. When everyone was ready, we jumped overboard, one by one. Once in the water, it is important to descend quickly and get close to the reef. If you don't do this, there is a risk that the current will push you away from the reef and this will mean the end of the dive. The reef passed us by as if in a film.
