Ralf Jurrien : 2007-10-12 17:31:00
New York Film Festival sponsored by Technicolor : Technicolor is sponsoring the 45th annual New York Film Festival. Technicolor provided key services for many of the premieres. In addition, Technicolor led a team of postproduction and visual effects companies on the “definitive” restoration of director Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner - receiving its North American premiere on Saturday, Sept. 29. Technicolor also provided services for director Brian DePalma’s Iraq quasi-documentary Redacted; director Noah Baumbach’s Margot at the Wedding; director Todd Haynes’ critically lauded I’m Not There - a “re-imagining” of multiple facets of singer-songwriter Bob Dylan’s life; and director Sidney Lumet’s Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead.

Jewelry photography tips

Ralf Jurrien : 2007-09-19 20:40:00
Jewelry photography tips : Many jewelry artists make fantastic jewelry but they lack the knowledge needed for taking great photographs of their beautiful work. Jim Juris discovered this several years ago when he began making jewelry and participating in online jewelry forums. The images that many jewelry artists where placing on their web site or showing to other members on jewelry forums lacked quality. Jim Juris felt a strong desire to help jewelry artists improve their jewelry photography. He felt that the best way for him to do this would be to write an easy to read, informative ebook on jewelry photography. His other objective in writing this ebook was to show people how to improve their jewelry photography inexpensively.

Ralf Jurrien : 2007-09-14 14:00:00
Pantone Goe system creates serious problems : Managing director and trend watcher VIGC (Flemish Innovation Center for Graphic Communication) Eddy Hagen has looked into the newly launched Pantone Goe system and has spoken to Pantone Inc. at Graph Expo in Chicago. “Although the new Pantone Goe system offers some nice features, especially the color communication using Lab, there are some serious issues in terms of design and documentation. We want to warn users of possible pitfalls when applying Pantone Goe system.” comments Eddy Hagen. “We sent out an open letter to Pantone and notification to our members but find it important enough to share this with other users in the market.”
