Ewedrive remote backup service : Data storage specialist, Defuturo is launching a remote backup service called ‘Ewedrive’ for home/personal PC users who don’t have wool over their eyes about increasing the resilience of their data and want to gain access to it from anywhere, hassle-free, without any security concerns. Ewedrive has a highly competitive pricing scheme with fees based on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ model, rather than a monthly subscription. Users can buy disk space for as little as five pence per gigabyte for one week, or obtain unlimited storage space from £1.90 a week (less than a lamb kebab). Makrolon Polycarbonate used for data storage

Ilse Jurriën : 2007-06-29 18:55:36
Makrolon Polycarbonate used for data storage : Small and round, it provides enjoyable, crackle-free, crystal-clear sound, and it set off an acoustic revolution 25 years ago: the first pop CD to be made from Bayer MaterialScience’s (BMS) high-tech material Makrolon polycarbonate (PC) was ABBA’s album “The Visitors” in 1982. The compact disc produced the songs of the Swedish cult band in a sound quality that was totally new at the time, so that this shiny object totally changed the international music industry. It also changed the way people listened to music - forever. What is more, it heralded the global conquest of optical data storage.

Ralf Jurrien : 2007-06-28 11:07:00
Free iPod giveaway : Does your Christmas list include a new iPod, the latest digital camera or perhaps Bluetooth technology for a cell phone? Not only can people find them online, but the odds of finding that free iPod seem better than ever. The use of free online promotions has not only increased during the holidays, but it has gained legitimacy, with prominent retailers jumping on board. It may have begun with last year's creation of the "Cyber Monday" marketing myth, labeling the first Monday after Thanksgiving as the biggest online shopping day of the year. Although Cyber Monday was later debunked as mostly media hype, the buzz surrounding the overall increase in online traffic during this season lingers.

Learn photography with Stephen Johnson

Mark Peters : 2007-06-25 11:08:00
Learn photography with Stephen Johnson : Noted photographer Stephen Johnson has taught digital photography for 15 years. During that time, he has been working to make photography workshops more hands-on enabling students to experience and walk away feeling more confident in their skills. To this end, he built a full digital imaging lab in a bus to take on field workshops. He began planning his own digital lab to add to his workshop program where students would not be constrained by under-powered, under-equipped digital tools, and constrained by ink and paper. His new State of the Art Hands-on Lab opened in March and is ready for summer workshops. Stephen has been teaching and working in photography since 1977.
