Ralf Jurrien : 2007-09-18 21:50:00
Digital camera strap from epic photo gear : epic photo gear has just announced three unique camera straps with a twist - these straps all have two handy pockets - one for a cell phone and the other for camera batteries or memory cards. Vic Cherubini, President of epic photo gear was inspired to design the new straps after attending a Friday night high school football game. “I was at the game and noticed one of the photographers on the sidelines with a small pocket sewn into his camera strap. His wife added the appendage which he used to hold an extra battery and a memory card. I thought it was a wonderful idea, but I wanted to take it to the next level” said Cherubini, so he designed the PocketPal line of camera straps.

XShot monopod : Originally designed to help people take photos of themselves without the inevitable arm extension, XShot, LLC, announces a product that is gaining popularity in still photography, and the video industry as well. What is the XShot? The XShot is a hand-held, monopod-like product that allows the user to capture their picture when no one is around to take it for them. “People no longer have to rely on extending their arm or passing strangers to take their pictures,” Michael Daoud, co-founder of XShot, LLC, said. “Photographers and videographers can now be a part of the memory they capture and get a great image.” The XShot monopod extends over three feet and is made of high-quality stainless steel.

To solve this problem, iMemories announced iMemories Online, a new web-based service and interface that combines one of the broadest ranges of video-related services available for sharing both pre-digital and digital media in one family collection. The online service transforms old-media memories into crystal-clear digital files that consumers can enjoy and share-whenever and wherever they like.
