DIWA Gold Award to Nikon D40

Mark Peters : 2007-03-22 15:00:00
DIWA Gold Award to Nikon D40 : DIWA, a world-wide organisation of collaborating websites, announces a DIWA Gold Award to the Nikon D40 DSLR camera for its high overall performance at a very competitive price. Although the Nikon D40 is an entry-level digital SLR camera, many of its internal technologies are inherited from its far more expensive siblings, the Nikon D80 and D200. This includes its excellent 3D Colour Matrix II metering, its high quality image-processing algorithms and fast performance. Thanks to this, the Nikon D40 delivers excellent price/quality ratio. Several samples have passed our rigorous DIWA testing procedure with excellence, making the Nikon D40 a worthy winner of a DIWA Gold Award.
