Print Creations software from ArcSoft : ArcSoft, Inc. announced that it has expanded the ArcSoft Print Creations software suite to include a new application, Print Creations Scrapbook - a program that gives digital scrapbookers quality, ease-of-use, and creative control. ArcSoft Print Creations Scrapbook features a collection of high-quality templates and lets users create personalized scrapbook pages in just minutes. For users who prefer a traditional scrapbooking experience, the program provides resize, rotate, reposition, layer, and add/remove controls for all of the scrapbook elements - including photos, patterned backgrounds, embellishments, journaling tags, frames, crop shapes, and text.

Video chat quality enhancement software : ArcSoft announced the release of ArcSoft Magic-i Visual. A smaller, simpler, and easier-to-use version of Magic-i 3, ArcSoft’s popular webcam-enhancing application, Magic-i Visual Effects software augments the video chat experience through frames, effects, and themes. “Magic-i Visual Effects video chat quality enhancement software is a great way for our OEM customers to provide a little extra fun and creativity with their webcams or webcam applications,” said Michael Downs, ArcSoft Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “It provides a set of easy to use effects that are added in real time to the video stream of another application, such as ArcSoft WebCam Companion.”

ArcSoft HD DVD solutions at CeBIT : ArcSoft is demonstrating its HD solutions this week at CeBIT, where ArcSoft Digital Theatre 2 is featured at the HD DVD Promotion Group booth. The player supports HD DVD playback, as well as commercial and homemade DVD movies and a variety of multimedia files on Windows XP and Windows Vista systems. “We’re very pleased to be showcasing our high definition solutions, which are among the best performing in the industry,” said Michael Downs, ArcSoft Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “We’ve been working closely with the HD DVD Promotion Group, and the major Hollywood studios to ensure that we can effectively provide the complete spectrum of HD DVD functionality to our customers.”

Photo Book, Photo Calendar and Funhouse applications are now available for OEM licensing along with the existing Greeting Card application. Each software comes packed with a full set of professionally designed themes and layouts for all occasions and in all kinds of styles. End-users personalize the themes with their own digital pictures and text. OEMs can easily supply additional creative content. All of the Print Creations applications - Greeting Card, Photo Calendar, Album Page, Photo Book, and Funhouse - are available in both Windows and Macintosh versions for OEM licensing.
