iPhone support Web 2 applications

Dennis Hissink : 2007-06-12 04:30:00
iPhone support Web 2.0 applications : Apple announced that its revolutionary iPhone will run applications created with Web 2.0 Internet standards when it begins shipping on June 29, 2007. Developers can create Web 2.0 applications which look and behave just like the applications built into iPhone, and which can seamlessly access iPhone’s services, including making a phone call, sending an email and displaying a location in Google Maps. Third-party applications created using Web 2.0 standards can extend iPhone’s capabilities without compromising its reliability or security. “Developers and users alike are going to be very surprised and pleased at how great these applications look and work on iPhone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

Apple iPhone

Mark Peters : 2007-01-10 00:15:00
Apple iPhone : At the MacWorld 2007 Apple introduced something unique, at least that's how we think about it; the Apple iPhone. iPhone combines three products; a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching, into one small and lightweight handheld device. Apple iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.
