KolorWheel color matching utility for iPod A company named Koloroo has released a widget called KolorWheel that runs on any iPod with a color screen. KolorWheel is a color utility that provides scientifically formulated color schemes to match a web page, home decor, shirt or outfit....in fact, just about anything. The KolorWheel widget can be loaded on to an iPod from either a PC or Mac and is available at an introductory download price of $7.99. Using KolorWheel is as easy as moving your thumb over the iPod Click Wheel to select a base color. A suggested color scheme is automatically displayed in the four corners. If you prefer to match your base color to a particular object, you hold your iPod next to it.

Epson inkjet print head : Epson has succeeded in developing a thin-film piezo element that boasts the world's highest degree of distortion. Volume production of next-generation Micro Piezo print heads that feature these elements as actuators will be launched in April 2007. The Micro Piezo print head is an inkjet print head which utilizes Epson's original Micro Piezo technology. This technology uses electrical signals to change the shape of piezo elements and then fires ink droplets according to the physical force generated by the change in shape of these elements. Epson's Stylus Photo and Stylus Pro inkjet printers are photo-quality printers that have consistently played leading roles in the inkjet printer market.

3D plug in for Adobe Photoshop CS3 : Strata, the company adding the power of 3D to the designer's toolset, announced today three new plug-ins for Adobe Systems' Photoshop CS3 Extended software. Each of these 3D[in] plug-ins will be priced at less than $149 and will ship spring of this year. The three plug-ins add 3D model-to-photo matching, Raydiosity rendering, spline and subdivision surface modeling, 3D model construction from photographs, and real-time 3D output for the web and PDF documents. "By adding 3D support in Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended, Adobe has made it possible for us to integrate our award winning 3D technology directly with the designer's primary application," stated Ken Bringhurst, president of Strata.
