The creation of this portfolio was one of the first priorities for the company’s new Imaging and Media group. The portfolio enables X-Rite to offer customers solutions built on leading edge technology, delivering improved measurement consistency for accurate color communication throughout the creative workflow. In addition, by better leveraging its substantial investment in research and development, the company can accelerate innovation so it can continue to deliver solutions that break new ground in terms of functionality.

X-Rite and HP at Photokina Visitors to the X-Rite stand at Photokina will get to experience the new company’s latest color management solutions for photographers, creative professionals and digital imaging enthusiasts. From lively demonstrations by some of the world’s most celebrated digital photographers to a gallery showcasing their work, X-Rite has created an environment where visitors can truly see color management in action. “We want photographers to experience for themselves how color management can free them from constantly struggling to get the color on their monitor to match their final output, we give them more time to focus on expressing their artistry” says Iris Mangelschots, X-Rite’s vice president of Imaging and Media.

X-Rite & Amazys integrate

X-Rite & Amazys integrate : The Board of Directors of X-Rite, announced today the implementation of the planned CEO succession which was outlined at the time of the January announcement of the Amazys acquisition. Michael C. Ferrara will retire from his positions of CEO and Member of the Board and Thomas J. Vacchiano Jr. will become President and Chief Executive Officer as well as a Member of the Board of Directors. Tom Vacchiano was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Amazys Holding AG from January 2001 until the acquisition by X-Rite in July of this year. Mr. Ferrara will remain available to consult on the transition through the end of this year. The CEO transition was planned as a part of the Amazys acquisition.
