Nic Rossmüller : 2006-10-31 10:00:00
Xerox helping hands office makeover contest : The outdated technology at Indianapolis’ most obsolete nonprofit office was hindering efforts to raise funds and support the nonprofit’s cause. Now, a dramatic makeover has provided employees with an impressive new look, all revealed today at the conclusion of Xerox Corporation’s “Helping Hands” Office Makeover contest. The contest winner - the Indiana Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - has neglected its own needs to lend a hand to more than 800 people in Indiana living with the genetic disease. In just two days, crews transformed the bleak office into an inspiring and productive work space that boasts Xerox digital color printing systems and software.

The Xerox motorcycle, named "Nu-Ness" - a combination of the "Nu" in Nuvera and Ness, tied to the naming tradition of bikes created by Ness and his son Cory - will feature a fine detail paint job with the kind of black-and-white contrasts, halftones and line work that's found in monochrome documents produced on Nuvera systems.
