The Olympus SP 500 offers photographers the power and flexibility of a precision 10x zoom lens, which at 1:2.8-3.7 is superbly bright across the entire focal range. Boasting a bright (1:2.8-3.7) 10x optical zoom that covers a 38-380mm focal range (35mm camera equivalent), the Olympus SP-500 UZ is geared for extreme shooting flexibility. Various focusing options also exist: From iESP autofocus through to spot and multi-spot AF with a selectable AF area offering 143 points and, of course, manual focus, photographers dictate the level of control they require.

The Olympus E-330 features the latest-generation MOS sensor for high speed and sensitivity and is offering 7.5 Megapixels. The new Olympus Evolt E330 is an E-System camera and is therefore compatible with the full range of Olympus E-System accessories. It is shipped with a Zuiko Digital 14-45mm 1:3.5-5.6 lens (equivalent to 28-90mm on a 35mm camera). The Olympus Evolt E-330 has a unique feature on board, it's the world's first digital SLR with continuous live view on its LCD. Olympus has equipped the Evolt E-330 model with a large, 2.5 inch multi-angle LCD.

The Casio Z120 features a 7.2 Megapixel CCD and a slim 3x optical zoom. The Casio EXILIM EX-Z120 offers Anti Shake DSP, which reduces blurring caused by shaking hands or moving subjects. Furthermore the Casio Exilim Z120 has a 2.0 inch TFT color LCD display as well as a standard optical viewfinder and VGA (640x480 pixels) size video recording capabilities. For enhanced user-friendliness, the mode dial and easy mode menu use simple icon images that make picture taking a snap for beginner digital camera users. The Casio EX Z-120 digital camera is compatible with PictBridge.

The Pentax OptioWPi is providing the convenience of a large 2.0-inch LCD monitor and 6 effective Megapixels, and overall operational ease. The Pentax WPi camera complies with JIS class 8 waterproof performance, enabling it to withstand up to 30 minutes of continuous operation at an underwater depth of 1.5 meters. Despite its slim, flat body dimensions, the Pentax Optio WPi camera features a large, 2.0-inch LCD monitor with 115,000 pixels. The user can display 15 mode icons at once out of a total of 22, with the remaining 7 icons replacing the selected 15 on the user's command.

The Nikon S3 offers the higher shooting performance of 6.0 effective Megapixels and has a large, bright 2.5-inch LCD monitor, which does away with the need for a viewfinder and makes it easy to play back shots on the spot. Like the Nikon S1 and S2, the Nikon Coolpix S3 manages to pack a powerful 35-105mm 3x Zoom-Nikkor ED lens (35mm equivalent) whilst retaining a surprisingly slim depth of just 19.7mm. The lens also makes use of Nikon’s “right-angled” optics system, which enables the lens to function throughout its focal range without ever protruding from the camera body.

Kodak EasyShare P880 at Steves Digicams : Our good friends at Steves Digicams have published their review of the Kodak EasyShare P880 digital camera. The Kodak P880 features 8 Megapixels and an interesting wide-angle optical zoom lens with a focal length of 24 - 140mm (35mm equiv.,) f/2.8-4.1. The 24mm wide angle setting is ideal for landscape photography, allowing a person to get closer to subjects, while contributing to greater sense of place by pulling in foreground objects with greater depth of field. With the same integrated lens, users can also optically zoom up to 140mm (5.8X) using the manual zoom ring for precise framing. Kodak has added RAW file support to the Kodak EasyShare P880 digital camera.
