Sony LocationFree wireless home entertainment

Mark Peters : 2006-05-08 15:31:00
Sony LocationFree wireless home entertainment : LocationFree is a completely new way of seeing TV. Instead of going to the television set, the TV comes to you by redirecting your local TV shows to wherever even if you don’t have a TV with you. Even when you’re not at home, LocationFree makes sure what used to be called ‘home’ entertainment stays with you. This revolutionary Sony innovation is the first of its kind to become available in the UK and Europe. With LocationFree, you can watch live TV, play back recorded programmes and even set up future recordings, all from a PC, laptop or PSP (PlayStation Portable) system. Built-in wireless technology gives you the freedom of your own home (and garden), and the Internet does the rest.

Sony Reader electronic paper

Dennis Hissink : 2006-01-05 21:55:00
Sony Reader electronic paper : The Sony Reader is expected to bring a whole new meaning to "book smart." Coupling an innovative electronic paper display with precise one-handed navigation and a stylish, durable design, the Sony Reader will allow active readers to carry as much as they want to read whether they are traveling on the road or just around the corner. Roughly the size of a paperback novel, but thinner than most (about .5 inches thin), the device can store hundreds of books in internal memory with the addition of an optional Memory Stick or Secure Digital (SD) card. The electronic Reader can also store and display personal documents in Adobe PDF format, favorite web content like blogs or news feeds, and JPEG photos.
