Sony Cybershot DSC-S700 : According to AppleInsider Sony is going to launch two new digital camera models; one of them is the Sony Cybershot DSC-S700. At this moment the information is not official, but the images AppleInsider has published with their article shows us clearly the new Sony Cybershot S700 camera. The timing is not strange. There is big event coming up in Las Vegas, the 2007 International CES show. We know right after New Years Eve other manufacturers have scheduled their introductions of some new models so there is a big chance we will get the official word from Sony too. The information so far is that the Sony S700 features a 7.2 Megapixel CCD sensor and a 3x optical zoom lens with a 2.4-inch LCD display.

Sony Cybershot DSC-S650 : According to our friends at Engadget Sony is going to launch two new digital camera models; the Sony Cybershot S650 and the Sony Cybershot DSC-S700. At this moment the information is not official, but the image Engadget has published with their article is said to be one of the new Sony Cybershot digital cameras. The timing is not strange. Although XMas is just around the corner, there is a big event coming up; the 2007 International CES. There is a chance Sony will launch just before or during the CES 2007 show. The information listed at Engadget shows us that the Sony S650 and Cybershot S700 both are 7 Megapixel cameras with AA format batteries and rather small LCD displays of 2.0 and 2.4-inch format.

Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 : According to a product announcement we saw on the website of an official Sony dealer in Luxembourg we may expect a new Sony Cybershot coming up; the Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 digital camera. Although the information is at this moment not official and may therefore be not final, the new Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 digital compact camera will replace the Sony Cybershot N1. The unofficial specifications of the Sony Cyber-shot N2 contains a CCD image sensor of 10.1 Megapixels, a 3-inch LCD color monitor, 3x Carl Zeiss optical zoom lens, 26MB internal memory and a high sensitivity setting of 1000 ISO. The consumer price of the Sony Cybershot N2 camera is unknown, date of availability would be somewhere in autumn 2006.

Sony Cybershot DSC-T10 : Sony is launching a new color strategy with the introduction of its seven Megapixel Sony Cybershot T10 digital still camera. Premiering this summer in pink, white, black and silver, the new Sony T10 model upholds the standard for slim and stylish design. “The number of digital still cameras per household is steadily increasing, up to three or four, which suggests that people are buying cameras to fulfill different needs,” said Phil Lubell, director of marketing for digital still cameras and photo printers at Sony Electronics. “Our new model is so stylish that it can be viewed as a fashion accessory.” The Sony Cybershot DSC-T10 camera will be available in August for about $400.
