Konica Minolta Magicolor 2480 MF powered by SigmaTel : SigmaTel Inc., a leader in mixed-signal multimedia semiconductors, today announced that its SigmaTel STDC2040 System-on-Chip (SoC) chip is powering the Konica Minolta magicolor 2480 MF color laser All-In-One (AIO) system that features print, copy, scan, and camera-direct photo print functions. Multi- Function Peripherals is expected to grow at a 55 percent. SigmaTel is a leading merchant provider of semiconductor-based solutions to the AIO market, with the STDC2040 representing its fourth-generation device for this market. This product is being shown to SigmaTel customers attending the annual Computex consumer electronics trade show in Taipei this week.
