Sharp widescreen full HD 1080p Aquos 8 LCD : Sharp, a worldwide leader in flat-panel Liquid Crystal Display Televisions (LCD TV), is advancing beyond the competition once again with the introduction of the first models ever produced in a generation 8 LCD factory. Today, Sharp announced two new widescreen, full-HD 1080p Aquos sets in new screen sizes, 46-inch and 52-inch, produced at Sharp's groundbreaking new LCD plant, Kameyama No. 2. The Kameyama No. 2 plant began production operation in early August and will enable Sharp to build the most advanced flat-panel televisions in the world, and also help to meet the growing demand for competitively-priced large-screen high-definition (HD) LCD TVs in the US.

Sharp PN655 Professional High Definition LCD Monitor : Sharp announced that the world's largest professional LCD monitor, the 65-inch model PN-655, will be available in the USA in June. This robust 65-inch monitor has a full 1920 x 1080 two-megapixel high-definition (HD) resolution for accurate and precise image reproduction. With commercial design and components, the Sharp PN655 offers superior reliability for extended use applications, complementing Sharp's line of professional LCD video/data monitors. The Sharp PN-655 monitor's performance makes it ideal for use in diverse commercial settings such as digital signage, medical imaging, CAD/CAM and flight information displays. The Sharp PN-655 Monitor will be available in June.
