Seiko SLP 440 Thermal Label Printer : Seiko Instruments USA is expanding its flagship line with a new model, the Seiko SLP 440, a small footprint, affordable Smart Label Printer (SLP) offering simple set-up, 300 dpi high resolution thermal label printing, 2D barcoding and enhanced networking and graphics capabilities for office use or integration with vertical market applications. Seiko Instruments has added more than 23 new paper and adhesive labels to its already extensive label line-up, some up to 2 1/8 inches wide, making labeling items such as shipping boxes, patient records, files or storage bins, a cinch. Text can be imported easily from most Mac and PC applications with Seiko's SmartCapture feature.

Seiko SLP-450 desktop label printer : Business and home/office products supplier Seiko Instruments USA, the pioneer of the one-label-at-a-time "smart" printer, is shipping a new model in its flagship Smart Label Printer (SLP) line, offering higher resolution and a print speed of approximately one second per label. Seiko Instruments' new SLP 450 adds 2D barcode printing and improved network connectivity, pumping out high-quality, professional-looking labels that can include patient or customer information, bar codes for storing, shipping or inventory tracking, as well as text and graphics for labeling office files or cabinets. The printer also will generate name tags with the company logo for reception desk visitors or office events.
