SeeFile at Photokina 2006 : SeeFile Software is unveiling a version of its software, SeeFile 2.6, at Apple Expo and Photokina this month. SeeFile 2.6 is the first version of the software to be offered in a language other than English. The software allows photographers, graphic designers and video editors to share private folders with their clients and collaborators, requiring only a PC or Mac web browser at the client end. Additional localizations can be done by modifying a small number of files associated with the product, and do not require any recompilation or software development. With this version of the product, SeeFile is aiming to bring the software’s capabilities the European market for the first time.

Video web animation software from SeeFile : At the Siggraph 2006 Conference in Boston, booth 2629, SeeFile Software LLC is unveiling new software that supports video and web animation file formats in addition to the photo and print formats previously supported. SeeFile’s product for photo and print media has been praised in recent reviews by Seybold and Studio Photography and Design magazines, and was rated best of Show at the PMA 2005 conference by Shutterbug Magazine. The new 2.5 release adds video and Flash support, plus a number of additional features, and is being offered in new low-priced configurations for as little as $399, or $549 bundled with Mac hardware. An unlimited-user license for SeeFile 2.5, for corporate applications, is priced at $3,995.

SeeFile pro photography software : At the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International Conference (WPPI), Seefile Software is announcing their latest innovation- an eCommerce module for Seefile 2.0, their award winning Webserver software for photographers. Seefile has been praised by Shutterbug, Seybold and Studio Photography and Design and was rated best of Show at PMA 2005. SeeFile is exhibiting at WPPI booth 1208. Seefile already allows photographers to simply save files to folders on their hard disk for clients to view and comment on. Now, those photographers can let their customers purchase and download images and order prints, directly off the server through a convenient shopping cart feature.

SeeFile shows software update at PMA 2006 show : At the PMA 2006, SeeFile will be showing a major upgrade to their software package, fulfilling on a promise to improve often and well a product that was deemed best of show last year by, among others Joe Farace of Shutterbug and Liz Cunningham of Cygnus Publications. The Macintosh-based software is aimed at photographers, designers, and smaller graphic arts shops looking for a way to promote their work and interact with customers on the Internet. Traditional solutions to this problem have cost as much as $50,000. The SeeFile 2.0 software system is being shown at PMA 2006 at a complete price of only $995, including hardware that puts a Web server on an affordable platform.
