Epson GT-2500 scanner

Epson GT-2500 scanner : Epson America, Inc. Today announced two fast, affordable document imaging scanners designed for small business workgroups with the Epson GT-2500 and GT-2500 Plus. These flatbed scanners are not only engineered to capture high-quality, but can do so at resolutions up to 1200 x 1200 dpi for intense detail. They can scan documents up to 27 pages per minute in monochrome (ppm) and up to 11 ppm in color in 300 dpi. Both scanners also come standard with several productivity-enhancing features such as a 50 sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), automatic duplexing, one-button scanning, and more. The Epson GT-2500 and GT-2500 Plus are respectively priced at $599 and $899 and will be available in July 2006.

Kodak i6000 Check Scanners convert paper checks into high-quality digital images. They are deployed in such consumer-facing environments as retail point of sale, bank teller lanes and in general back-office operations which are taking advantage of efficiencies gained from the federal Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act known as Check 21 that removed barriers to electronic check processing. Ranger allows clients to use virtually any item or check processing software with any check scanning hardware.

Xerox Documate 632 scanner : The Xerox DocuMate 632, announced today at Transform ‘06, is a new duplex flatbed scanner that was designed specifically for departmental use and incorporates Visioneer OneTouch technology for eliminating multiple steps in sending scanned documents to predetermined applications or devices. It is the only scanner that can be programmed to automatically scan to 99 different destinations and be customized for each person in the department. The Xerox DocuMate 632 has an 8.5” x 14.5” flatbed that can accommodate documents up to legal size. It scans 70 images per minute for double-sided documents and the included Scan-to-PDF software bundle allows users to automatically scan to image-over-text searchable PDF.
