Pentax Optio E10 review at DigiCamReview : Our friend Joshua Waller from DigiCamReview has published his Pentax Optio E10 digital camera review. The Pentax E10 is delivered with a 1/2.5-inch CCD with 6.36 total Megapixels. The Pentax Optio E10 comes with a 3x optical zoom lens equivalent to a 34-102mm lens in 35mm format. When the optical zoom is paired with the digital zoom function (1 - 4X), the camera can attain up to 12x effective zoom magnification. The Pentax Optio E10 manages to fit in a large, 2.4-inch LCD monitor despite its compact body dimensions. Not only does the monitor’s size make it easier to compose and play back images, it also permits easier operation and setup thanks to its larger, easier-to-read menu display.

Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ7 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2006-05-13 23:40:00
Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ7 digital camera review : Early this year Panasonic introduced the successor of the FZ5: the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ7 digital camera. Besides the upgrade from 5 to 6 Megapixels, the Panasonic Lumix FZ7 is equipped with several extra settings. The entire camera has in fact undergone a small facelift. The 1.8 inch monitor, for instance, has been replaced by a large format 2.5 inch display. The avid movie fan will be pleased to see a VGA (640x480 pixels) video and 16:9 function. Improvements have also been made to the housing; which is more streamlined and has somewhat rounder corners. Compared to its predecessor, it is even slightly larger.

Canon Digital IXUS 65 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2006-05-13 00:20:00
Canon Digital IXUS 65 review : If you can judge the worth of a concept by the times it is copied, then Canon's IXUS series is a definite success. Many digital cameras currently on the market bear a lot of similarities to the Canon Digital IXUS digital camera. This is quite logical as Canon has achieved a perfect combination of design and functionality in this series. The latest top model, the Canon IXUS 65 has brought Canon one step closer to perfection. The Canon IXUS 65 first grabs your attention because of something it doesn't have: many pixels. The Canon IXUS 65 only has six, less than many of its competitors. The Japanese giant made this choice deliberately, going for better instead of more pixels: quality above quantity.

Canon PowerShot S3 IS review

Ilse Jurriën : 2006-05-12 15:30:00
Canon PowerShot S3 IS review : The PowerShot S3 IS is the successor of the PowerShot S2 IS, which was subjected to an array of tests in one of our previous in-depth digital camera reviews. Digital cameras such as the Canon S3 IS enjoy a considerable popularity, which arises from the fact that they have so much to offer for a relatively low price. The Canon S3 IS features, for instance, an impressive 12x optical zoom, equipped with an image stabiliser, which enables hand-held shots even when working with long focal lengths. The rotating and tilting monitor allows you to capture your images from virtually every imaginable position and angle. The resolution of 6 Megapixels is more than sufficient to produce a beautiful A4 print.
