Mitsubishi PK10 Pocket Projector : When Mitsubishi Motors North America unveiled their new Concept CT car at the North American Auto Show earlier this year, their designers looked beyond conventional vehicle architecture and created a whole new type of small car platform. With a new vision of an automobile in mind, they needed an intelligent informational display that combines data, video and driver information. Enter Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's revolutionary LED PocketProjector. "The size of the projector was the most important when we designed the Concept CT's instrument panel, as it had to occupy as little space as possible," said Robert Burns, interior designer of the Concept CT at Mitsubishi Motors North America.

Nic Rossmüller : 2006-05-13 22:33:00
Sanyo PLC-XP57L projector : Sanyo, the global leader in projectors with more than 5,000 ANSI lumens, is bringing a completely new projector design to the market in April 2006. The primary difference between the Sanyo PLC-XP57L projecto and its predecessors in the successful XP series is the fact that it is designed specifically for continuous use. At the heart of the new Sanyo PLC-XP57L is a 3LCD panel developed especially for continuous use. With the predecessors of the Sanyo PLC-XP57L brightness was still generated using micro lens technology. This technology provided a high degree of brightness through specialized light bundling at the pixel level; the disadvantage was that it reduced the service life of the panels.
