This new price of $999 is the same that every Mitsubishi Electric employee pays to bring home and enjoy an HD projector for the holiday season. Now consumers can enjoy the same high-definition experience of their favorite football game or holiday programming at Mitsubishi's employee price. "We wanted everyone to share the true high-definition experience of an HD1000U, and we thought the best way to do that would be to give everyone employee pricing," said James Chan, director, product marketing, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics.
