PNY Optima CompactFlash and Secure Digital cards : Announced today at PMA 2006, PNY Technologies, Inc. introduced several, new higher-speed, higher-capacity digital storage solutions. The company's new 60X Optima CompactFlash (CF) cards and 60X Optima Secure Digital (SD) memory cards can now capture, transfer and store data at a minimum sustained write speed of up to 9MB per second, and read speed of 10MB per second (66x) while its Optima Pro SD cards are capable of a write speed up to 20MB per second (133x). PNY Technologies' high-speed Optima CF and Optima SD cards will be available in 512MB, 1GB and 2GB in Q1 2006. PNY Optima Pro SD cards will be available in Q2 2006. Both Optima and Optima Pro come with a lifetime warranty.

PNY Maxfile USB drive : PNY has unveiled PNY Maxfile, a USB 2.0 external hard drive. This portable storage device provides a convenient and economical way for mobile users to carry more than 8GB of data or transfer files at speeds up to 480MB/sec. Its small form factor fits conveniently in a briefcase or backpack. Maxfile’s cost-per-megabyte is much less compared to other portable storage solutions of this physical size. Weighing only 60 grams and with a capacity starting at 8GB, users can store more than 16,000 digital photos, 2,400 songs in MP3 format, or thousands of text files. Its integrated USB connector plugs into any (MAC or PC) USB port to immediately store and access files, without requiring an extra power supply.

PNY USB flash drive : Announced today at CES, PNY Technologies, Inc. has expanded its family of USB Flash Drives to suit a variety of professions, personalities and lifestyles. The PNY family of flash drives provides unique features, including a proprietary swing design; a titanium casing with a retractable USB connector; an expandable USB drive with a seven-in-one flash card reader; and a shock, UV, dust and water resistant USB flash drive with a rubberized housing. These portable storage devices enable users to transfer data, photographs and images quickly and easily from one computer to another. Four new PNY USB drives will be available in the first half 2006, in multiple storage capacities, to ship to retail outlets.

PNY custom-imprinted USB flash devices : Keeping pace with the growing, multi-billion-dollar promotional products industry, PNY Technologies, Inc. announced today at CES that it has expanded its Build-To-Order (BTO) program to include several, new custom-imprinted USB flash-based devices including MP3 players, a solar calculator and credit card style USB flash drive. According to Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), the promotional products industry is a $17.3 billion business. The latest additions to PNY's BTO program target businesses and incentive/advertising specialty markets that desire a custom-imprinted device to promote a company, organization, product, service, special achievement or event.
