Online image archive photoshelter photo rescue : Operation Photo Rescue Uses PhotoShelter In Their Quest To Preserve Images Nearly Lost In Hurricane Katrina BitShelter LLC today announced that Operation Photo Rescue (OPR) is using PhotoShelter to coordinate the restoration and return of thousands of photos that were damaged in Hurricane Katrina and other natural disasters. Operation Photo Rescue, currently has 725 volunteer image retouchers who use their skills to restore storm-damaged images. PhotoShelter is the industry standard for online image archiving and distribution photographers. "Operation Photo Rescue's mission is in line with our own," said Grover Sanschagrin, PhotoShelter's Vice President of Marketing and Sales.
