International Photographic Council at United Nations : The International Photographic Council (IPC) announced that it will hold its annual IPC New Year’s Luncheon at the United Nations. Lunch attendees will include professional photographers, advertising and marketing executives, photography manufacturers, and dealers/distributors. The New Year’s Luncheon will include presentations by the most respected and recognized sports brand in the world, Sports Illustrated Magazine, whose Publisher, Photo Editor, and Staff Photographer, will kick-off the XX Winter Olympics 2006 season to be held in Turin, Italy in February by showing exciting examples of sports photography and the world of Winter Olympics.
