Apple iPod supported by Photo to Movie software : LQ Graphics, Inc., a leading provider of digital imaging and video solutions, announced a new release of Photo to Movie that creates video content for the new Apple iPod. With Photo to Movie, consumers and Podcasters can quickly and easily create amazing movies for the iPod. "Our customers use Photo to Movie to produce video content for DVDs, the Web, email and slide shows, and now these same movies can be viewed on the iPod," said Chris Meyer, president and CEO of LQ Graphics, Inc. "We believe this release benefits our customers and Apple's customers, because now professionals and consumers can easily create dramatic new content for the iPod."

HandHeld Entertainment ZVUE media player : HandHeld Entertainment announced that its entry-level ZVUE (v1.2) now supports all legal download and streaming video Web sites on the Internet that deliver video content using Windows Media Video (WMV) with Microsoft's secure Digital Rights Management (DRM) software. HandHeld Entertainment achieved DRM compatibility by adding an internal real-time digital clock to its entry-level ZVUE portable media player. As a result, HandHeld Entertainment is the first company in the world to sell a Windows DRM-enabled portable media player at less than $100. HandHeld Entertainment will be exhibiting at CES 2006 Jan. 5-8 at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas.

MV800 MemoryVue frame demonstration at CES 2006 : Pacific Digital will demonstrate their new MV800 MemoryVue Digital Picture Frame this week at CES. The MV800 features a large 8" TFT LCD display with 640x480 resolution. Unlike other frames, the MV800 does not require a PC or Subscriptions to operate. Photos play directly from the integrated 5-in-1 card reader (CF, SD, MS, MMC, MD) and supports photographs in the following formats; JPG, BMP, and GIF and audio in MP3 or MPEG 1/2/4 formats. The new MV800 supports video playback at 640x480 (30fps) for smooth TV quality video. The MV800 accepts CF/SD/MMC and Memory Stick cards for maximum compatibility with major digital cameras. The unit is light, portable and easy to use.

Digital Picture Frames supports Windows Vista : Pacific Digital Corporation is working with Microsoft to integrate the next generation MemoryFrame family of digital picture frames with enhanced features built into the upcoming Microsoft Windows Vista release. Pacific Digital will be demonstrating Microsoft Windows Vista at it's booth at CES. Digital Picture Frames are quickly becoming a standard part of the home, displaying digital photos and other content as an "electronic scrapbook". The MemoryFrame will be able use the features of Windows Vista to further integrate digital picture frames into the home experience by supporting Windows Vista capabilities such as Windows Media Connect, Windows Connect Now and RSS Feeds.
