Pentax K100D review

Dennis Hissink : 2006-10-29 19:30:00
Pentax K100D D-SLR review : This year Pentax have given their series of digital SLR cameras another complete update. This means we finally see the end of the rather ridiculous name *ist D; which didn't exactly appeal to the imagination, if you even managed to pronounce it at all. The new series digital SLR cameras now go by the names of K100D, K110D and K10D. Although these may all seem to be rather random names upon first glance, things couldn't be more different. The -K refers to the beginnings of the Pentax K-bayonet, which marks its 30th anniversary this year. With the reference to the K-bayonet, Pentax assert that they intend to be a force to be reckoned with, just as they have been in the past. We had the opportunity to test the Pentax K100D, the successor of the *ist DS2.

Pentax Optio W10 review

Dennis Hissink : 2006-10-17 12:30:00
Pentax Optio W10 digital camera review : It seems that Pentax have gotten a taste for photography on and around the water. The Pentax W-series of digital cameras made its debut with the Optio 33WR, which was introduced in 2003, followed by the Optio 43WR. Initially sporting a square design, the series evolved to the current measurements in January 2005, with the introduction of the Optio WP, the WPi, and now the W10 digital camera. As far as design is concerned, the Pentax Optio W10 resembles a standard digital compact camera. In fact, it fits this description in many different ways. However, there's more to it than that: the Pentax W10 offers you the chance to explore the underwater world, a reasonably unique additional feature.

Pentax Optio T10 review

Ilse Jurriƫn : 2006-07-28 15:00:00
Pentax Optio T10 review : Pentax have been part of the digital camera market for years, and never cease to amaze us with their surprising series of digital cameras. The Pentax Optio T10 was introduced in the month of the PMA 2006, and proved an instant eye-catcher. The Pentax Optio T10 is a typical example of a stylish design camera. The compact size, neat finish and surprising back side prove to be features that instantly draw your eye to the camera. The Pentax Optio T10 will be a true godsend to all those that are suffering from "button-fear"; the camera features only four buttons, an absolute record! The Pentax T10 became available several months ago, and will have to go head-to-head with camera heavyweights such as Canon, Sony and Nikon.
