Sampo LCD TV : Oregan Networks, a provider of digital media delivery software, has entered into a licensing agreement with Sampo of Taiwan, a leading manufacturer of flat-panel televisions who supplies products to well-known global high street CE brands, such as Sharp, as well as targeting domestic Taiwanese and US markets with its own-branded HD-Ready and network enabled TVs. The contract is another step towards the fulfilment of Oregan's strategy for enabling the "ubiquitous web" experience with its browsing solution that is custom-designed for the specifics of the Non-PC embedded device environment. Demonstrations of Sampo's IP-connected CE products, are planned to be held during IFA Berlin 2006.
