Two-chip H.264-enabled camera reference design

Ilse Jurriƫn : 2006-02-25 04:00:00
Two-chip digital camera reference design : Qpixel Technology, an innovator in H.264 digital video compression audio and video encoder/decoder solutions, and NuCORE Technology, a developer of digital image processors for video and still cameras, have co-developed a low-power H.264-enabled two-chip digital camera reference design that allows capture, encoding and playback in a comprehensive, highly integrated solution for digital still and digital video cameras. It incorporates the industry's first low-power, H.264 standard definition Main Profile encode and decode ASSP (Application-Specific Standard Product) solution from Qpixel. The two companies are demonstrating the reference Product Evaluation Kit (PEK) to customers at PMA.
