Nokia 6080 : Today, during its annual Nokia Connection event in Singapore, Nokia broadened its industry-leading mid-range portfolio with the introduction of a new GSM handsets, The classically designed Nokia 6080 phone offers high performance, the Nokia 6080 phone presents an elegantly designed and attractively priced camera phone with an easy-to-use feature set. The Nokia 6080 is expected to begin shipping in the fourth quarter of 2006, and is expected to retail for approximately € 180,- before taxes or subsidies. The Nokia 6080 is primarily targeted to consumers in Asia. In an elegant black design, highlighted with silver or gold colour accents, this phone combines camera and video recorder capabilities with a stereo FM radio.

Nokia 2875 : Today at Nokia's annual global showcase of a new mobile devices, Nokia Connection 2006, Nokia unveiled a new CDMA handset, which brings megapixel-plus cameras and Bluetooth wireless technology to the mid-range segment. The Nokia 2875/2875i phone includes a high-quality 1.3 megapixel camera. Nokia 770 Internet Tablet : At the VON Europe conference in Stockholm, Nokia introduced a new software upgrade for the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet. The upgraded features of the introduced OS 2006 edition include support for rich Internet communications, including Google Talk - all on a portable broadband mobile device. Google Talk is Google's free instant messaging service that enables people to chat and make calls through the Internet. Additional features of the new software include enhanced text typing with full-screen finger keyboard, improved memory performance and refreshed look. Nokia and Gameloft expanded gaming collaboration : Nokia and Gameloft today announced a strategic collaboration to make a range of award winning Gameloft mobile games easily available to Nokia device owners. The relationship will allow for deeper cooperation between the two companies regarding development cooperation to ensure timely support of new Nokia handsets and technologies as well as the distribution of Gameloft games. As part of this relationship, Gameloft will develop a number of Gameloft franchises for Nokia's next generation mobile games platform which is expected to launch in the first half of 2007. Digita and Nokia signed DVB-H mobile TV contract : Digita and Nokia have signed the world's first commercial DVB-H mobile TV platform supply contract. Nokia will deliver to Digita its Nokia Broadcast Solution 3.0, which is a service management solution for DVB-H services. The MBS 3.0 supports the broadcasting of different types of digital content such as live TV, radio, and video clips over DVB-H networks to mobile devices. Digita obtained the DVB-H network license from the Finnish Government earlier in 2006. Digita will be responsible for the broadcasting network and administration of channels. The first stage of network rollout in 2006 will cover the area in the Helsinki region and the cities of Turku, Tampere, and Oulu.
