Nikonians NikSecure photo equipment insurance : Nikonians, the worldwide home for Nikon photographers, announced the launch of their NikSecure photo insurance program. NikSecure provides members of the Nikonians community to insure up to $20,000 of their photo equipment, including cameras, lenses, tripods, and memory cards during travel or transit. To qualify for NikSecure, photographers need to be registered at the Silver, Gold, or Platinum level at Nikonians.org. NikSecure covers photographic equipment used for personal and professional use, offers full replacement coverage in the first 12 months of ownership, and offers a low deductible in case of theft. NikSecure policies start at $150 flat-rate for $5000 in coverage.

Nikonians podcast radio program: Nikonians announces the debut of a new talk radio program which recently joined its podcast lineup. The Image Doctors is a 30-minute talk show centered on all aspects of photography and the Nikonians community. Hosted by the photographers Jason Odell and Rick Walker, The Image Doctors brings a new dimension to the Nikonians experience every two weeks. Podcasts allow you to enjoy news, interviews, music and shows while being away from the Internet. “We know that many of our listeners are doing their daily chores, or commuting while listening to us” says Jason Odell. “Podcasts are easy to subscribe to and the format has brought an additional dimension to the mainly visually oriented Internet.”

PMA 2006 Orlando exhibited by Nikonians : Nikonians.org, the worldwide photography community for Nikon users, is pleased to announce that it will be attending its first-ever Photo Marketing Association trade show and convention February 26-March 1, 2006 in Orlando, Florida.
