BREW 2006 Monotype Imaging Textual Revolution : Textual Revolution at Booth of the BREW 2006 Conference, May 31- June 2 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. Monotype Imaging's presence at the show will feature a speaker presentation, technology introductions and a series of demonstrations surrounding the launch of the company's scalable, including a suite of fonts that will add a new dimension to cell phone communications. "As one of the most important industry events of the year, we view the BREW 2006 Conference as an opportunity to evangelize the value of scalable fonts and multilingual technology for mobile phones," said John Seguin, senior vice president and general manager of Monotype Imaging's Display Imaging group.

Monotype Imaging provider of font & imaging software : Monotype Imaging, a global provider of font and imaging software technologies, has entered into an exclusive agreement with Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories, Inc. (MERL), to license to customers its Saffron type rendering technology. Saffron technology, which has been previously licensed by MERL to Adobe Software Systems Incorporated. for improving text display quality in programs authored using current and future releases of Adobe's Macromedia Flash product, will be integrated into future versions of Monotype Imaging technologies designed for manufacturers and developers of consumer devices, such as mobile phones, digital television systems and set-top boxes.
