Kyocera WVGA TFT liquid crystal display : Kyocera announced that global parent Kyocera Corporation has developed a wide-format TFT liquid crystal display for broad industrial market applications including factory automation and control, medical equipment, and test and measurement equipment. Model TCG085WV is an 8.5” diagonal WVGA (800 x 480 dots) module that provides 25% greater display area than conventional 8.5” products, thus increasing significantly the amount of data that can be displayed. The TCG085WV features 400 cd/m2 brightness, 500:1 contrast, 75K hour CFL life, and RoHS compliant construction. It is designed to meet industrial market demands for bright crisp images, long part life, and environmental friendliness.
